fellows nyc film jam
We’re inviting TEN teams of filmmakers, actors, and more to make a short film over a weekend!
THIS IS A 4 DAY EVENT FROM APRIL 17TH - APRIL 20TH
RULEBOOK
Your short film must be made solely by your team of 3-4 people. This means everything from pre-production, camera-work, acting, & editing must be done within your team.
You may be disqualified if you include more people than originally applied for.
You are allowed to borrow equipment if you would like, including but not limited to cameras, lights, etc.
You may also film in friends’ locations such as bedrooms, backyards, etc. They just may not help you with the actual developing/creating of the film.
As a participant in the event, at least one person from every time is expected to be available to join the in-person kick-off on April 17th and the in-person screening on April 20th. Failure to attend will result in disqualification from future film jam events.

This film jam is designed to be more about the fun of the process rather than the final product. You should go into the event excited to have fun with new or old friends, make something exciting, and have a great evening together. That being said - some level of interest in filmmaking / acting is encouraged!
