RECRUITMENT

We’re looking to add to our team!

These roles are unpaid - for portfolio. Specifically meant for college students/early career creatives looking to stay on this role long term (at least 1 year). Imagine workload and workflow similar to a school club with commitment of up to 4-5 hours a week!

EVENT LEADER(S)

Fellows Collective is looking for creatives located in various cities across the U.S. to run casual meet up events & activities. This does not have to be a permanent role, if you’re interested in just throwing one event, please let us know!

Tasks:

  • Collaborate with us to throw an event / hangout in your city! In the past, we’ve encouraged outdoor picnic hangouts, book swaps, and more. These events are meant to be casual + low cost + accessible to the public! (Avoid complicated / multi-day events or projects)

  • Event Lead would be in charge of managing attendees, sending through updates, figuring out meet up locations / budgets, and ensuring a welcoming/wholesome environment.

  • 2025 Goals: Would love to establish a couple people per major city (SF, LA, NYC, etc) to be a liaison for all future events in 2026. These people would be comfortable with hosting events, sourcing locations, and are aligned with FC’s mission in creating an accessible space for connection, community, and creativity.

TO APPLY: Please send a paragraph (or more) about what type of event you’d like to host to fellowsthecollective@gmail.com.

Title the email “EVENT NAME Request - CITY” (example: Book Club Request - New York City).

Please also include your Instagram Handle for further communcation.

FELLOWS FOR TWO LEADS

Fellows Collective is looking to bring on a team of Fellows For Two leaders to assist with managing the FF2 program.

Tasks:

  • Note that this is role requires a commitment of at least 1 year and applicants must have participated in FF2 at least ONCE previously.

  • Assist with setting up the application process for the program: including reading through applications, making partnerships, setting up the slack channel, and developing the agendas.

  • FF2 2025 will run twice, once in the spring and once in the fall. Leaders are expected to be readily available to answer questions, assist participants, and help motivate duos to finish their projects in time!

  • 2025 Goal: First time FF2 Leads will be shadowing other Leaders to learn the ins and outs of running Fellows For Two, and ideally takeover as full leads in the coming year. We hope to make this a rotational program of leaders stepping in and out of the role as their career goals grow and change!

TO APPLY: Please send a cover letter on why you’re interested in this role / qualifications to fellowsthecollective@gmail.com

Expect an interview round for the application process.
