to be with you in this way
By Anja Balle & Natalie Sealover
In this repetitive, moving-picture composition, we bring mixed media into a digital space combining sculptural structures with photographic and video elements. By staging the physical self alongside natural elements, we explore the give and pull of relationships within the subconscious as it connects to organic, cyclical realities we cannot control.

This project follows a narrator from childhood to young adulthood through the lens of a relationship, told in a series of three songsātwo of which are accompanied by videosāreflecting on the complexities of love and friendship when things start to fall in place or fall apart.
These pieces explore one potential situation in the aftermath of falling in love, where love bleeds into navigating obstacles and repeated attempts to keep a relationship afloat. WE ONLY BLOOM WITH TIME.
By Sarah Cassell & Marc Tejada
A photo series that encapsulates the growing pains of change in areas of life that we have been familiar with all our lives. Friends, family, and ourself, three aspects of life that may be hardest to let go. Combining the arts of photography, creative direction, and the written word in order to understand changeā for better or for worse. Itās through the various physical alterations in the image and print that we hope to explore the visceral feeling of growing up and changing. In this attempt, we saw ourselves grow with the piece of art that we set out to create and allowed ourselves to explore the different meanings of what it means to grow up. Itās in this process that we found that we only bloom with time.

FINDING THE SPIRAL.
By Gianpaolo Pabros & Aakanksha Kuchan
We approach the spiral's symbolism to represent humanity; it displays itself in many organic forms that connect all of us to these universal experiences. We also understand how hard it is to feel connected to the world in a way where we feel validated and loved. Because of this obstacle, we wanted to create a visual/sonic art piece that our peers could listen to and view to help them journey toward self-discovery and self-love. This was a very eye-opening experience for both of us and experimented a lot in our own mediums to come up with the final product.

living for you
By Vivian Chan & Joey Quian
The multi-media concept video "Living for You" is a powerful exploration of the relationship between our inner child and our adult selves. The video places the protagonist in a simulated world where they confront hardship, mirroring the cycle of growing up and the various stages of emotional growth that we all experience. Through the character's journey of overcoming failures, the video emphasizes the importance of coexisting with our inner child and seeking guidance from naivety, wonder, and curiosity. It suggests that as we grow older, we often let fear and past traumas guide our actions, and forget the purity of dreaming and curiosity of the moment. By tapping into our inner child, we can approach life with a sense of authenticity and curiosity that allows us to overcome our fears and traumas, and find joy in exploring the world around us. Overall, "Living for You" is a thought-provoking piece of media that inspires viewers to reflect on their own emotional growth and development.
